Rock 101 NM empowers ABQ through music and build a community of talented and professional musicians by providing exciting and engaging opportunities for students to grow individually and as a team.
You will find year-round music programs that include:
One-on-One Music Lessons for students ages 6+, in which they have the opportunity to learn on an individual basis with one of the talented Rock 101 Instructors. These private lesson will be customized to fit the student’s style and interests.
Group lessons: Students will enjoy learning an instrument alongside fellow musicians in a weekly group lesson.
FreeBirds for ages 3-6 years old teaches children ages 3-6 how to play the guitar, keyboards, and drums in a real performing rock band. By using modified instruments and music notation with colors, the program allows a whole new age group access to the beautiful world of music.
