About National Solar Observatory at Sacramento Peak

Visit the National Solar Observatory at Sacramento Peak, the national center for ground-based solar physics in the United States of America. The observatory is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy under an agreement of cooperation with the National Science Foundation Division of Astronomical Sciences.
The National Solar Observatory has a mission to advance knowledge of the Sun, both as an astronomical object and also as the dominant external influence on Earth.
