About Alameda Park Zoo

Founded in 1898 as a deer park to entertain train passengers while they were waiting for the train to refuel, nowadays the Alameda Park Zoo is home to nearly 300 animals and 90 species.
As you visit the Zoo, you can have fun in the picnic area, visit the education center, play in the playground, and shop at the gift shop. This place is perfect for the entire family to visit, as all ages are welcome to join the fun.
The Alameda Park Zoo connects humans with this wonderful animal through audio, visual, and tactical experiences. You don’t want to miss it!
