About BUGarium

The BUGarium is an immersive exhibit that features insects, arachnids, and other amazing creatures!
Step into a world where the tiny creatures that crawl, climb, and fly take center stage. In this 3,500-square-foot facility, you’re invited to explore the intricate lives of arthropods, showcased in naturalistic habitats that bring to light the hidden marvels of bugs from every corner of the globe. From the leafy camouflages of Malaysian walking sticks to the formidable presence of giant bird-eating tarantulas and the striking colors of southwest velvet ants, you’ll discover the diverse and fascinating species that share our planet.

You will find amazing exhibits, including a working beehive, a tropical tree home to leaf cutter ants, aquatic insects that seem to connect to the outside dragonfly sanctuary pond, a nocturnal exhibit that allows you to view under infra-red light of tarantulas and African scorpions, and so much more!
