About Outdoor Field School: Uncovering Archeology at Tijeras BioZone Education Center

In this activity for kids aged 11 to 14, your children will learn about the natural world through fun, hands-on science outdoors while using real scientific equipment to observe and measure the environment. This program focuses on both anthropology and archeology, the scientific study of human societies and their artifacts respectively. Your kids will learn how to use historical text, dental picks, trowels, brushes, measuring tapes, line levels, and additional tools to observe and measure artifacts.
